Long time coming...

Life has been busy the past couple of years between full-time school and full-time work. I’m excited to have a few new offerings, as well as an exciting trail racing season ahead of me! I’ve already had a solid running season so far, finishing both the Mount Mitchell Challenge in February and the Fonta Flora Half Marathon in March. Next up is the Cradle to Grave 30k in a month. Hope to see you at a group run, morning workout or trail race soon!

Updates all around!

In addition to a new website, I'm also going to be adding a couple of classes per month to my teaching schedule. I'll be keeping the Tuesday night acro yoga class at The Little Volcano (6:30-7:45pm) and adding a Yoga For Athletes class every other Sunday afternoon at Summit CrossFit from 2-3pm.

The Summit class will begin December 13th, with a slightly weird schedule until after the holidays. This class is open to anybody, whether you do CF or not! $5 drop-in for an hour class, which is incredibly cheap. Summit is located across from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, at 21A McArthur Ln, Asheville 28803.

Also on the horizon - Yoga for Rock Climbers / Athletes! Still nailing down details on a location, but keep your eyes peeled for it. Climbing season is here and yoga is a great way to keep progressing forward on your season goals.

In non-yoga news, I'm honored to be a part of two different benefits for non-profits this month!

One will be for the Chain Collaborative, teaming up with 1000 Faces Coffee and us at Vortex Doughnuts. Starting this Saturday morning, I'll be helping run a donation-based slow coffee bar to help raise money to build a school near the Suke Quto farm. We've been getting amazing, award winning coffee from this farm, so it's a privilege to be able to give back to their community. Read more here...

I'll also be selling doughnut holes and delicious coffee at the Carolina Climbers Coalition's upcoming RUMBLE 2015 bouldering competition. Vortex Doughnuts will be donating the holes and coffee, with ALL money raised going to support the CCC and continued climbing access here in the Carolinas! So proud to be a part of this business and this event.

Let's play soon!

Until then,
