Lyle Mitchell

Yoga / Slacklining / Acro Yoga / Coffee


Lyle has been practicing yoga since 2009, exploring many different styles in his journey to teaching a mindfully aligned vinyasa practice. He was introduced to the worlds of slackline and acro yoga in August of 2012 and was immediately hooked. He completed his YogaSlackers teacher training in June of 2013, as well as additional acro training through a Solar immersion. Diving into these practices off the mat propelled him deeper into his practice on the mat. Lyle completed his 230 hour Yoga Teachers Training at Asheville Yoga Center, with a special focus in his Yoga for Climbers class. He has studied and drawn influence from amazing teachers like Michael Johnson, Shala Worsley, Jason Magness, and many others.

Lyle is an avid climber and enjoys running, cycling and skateboarding. He is also a coffee geek and works as a barista at Vortex Doughnuts. Pour overs, AeroPress, Espresso...ALL OF IT.

Lyle currently calls Asheville, NC home and also loves to hit the road for adventure whenever possible. Follow him on social media and the YogaSlackers website/event calendar for upcoming classes around NC and surrounding areas!
